Classic Caribou DJ Set Available Online
Published 4 January 2010 by BWL

Deconstructed was a rather wonderful little bar session in Cornwall run by Kingsley Marshall back in the day. He's been putting some archive recordings of DJ sets online, and the latest of these is a set by Dan Snaith (aka Caribou, or at that time, Manitoba) from 2002. Takes us back...

You can find it here:

Hardluckowski
Published 21 January 2010 by BWL

According to reliable sources, A Hawk And A Hacksaw's Chris Hladowski (who plays bouzouki and clarinet in the band) had a sledging accident in the "treacherous" (© Sky TV) freezing conditions that have beset the UK over the festive period. Fortunately his injuries are not too severe (see picture), and he expects to lose "the weight" in four weeks.

We wish Chris a speedy recovery.
